All guests ages 13 and older must wear wristbands at all times while inside the event.

Minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Maximum 5 minors per adult.

No Weapons

Weapons and dangerous items are prohibited. Bags are subject to search.

ID Scanning & Privacy

Adult ID scanning is used for event entry, age verification, wristband issuance, safety and security, and attendance planning. It is not used to create marketing lists, and WestFest does not sell scanned ID data.

Individual ID scan records are scheduled for deletion within 14 days after the event, unless a specific record must be preserved for a safety, security, legal, or law-enforcement matter. After that period, WestFest may retain only aggregate or de-identified attendance statistics, such as age ranges, ZIP code distribution, and gender/sex-marker breakdowns.

WestFest may share aggregate, non-identifying attendance statistics with current or future sponsors. WestFest does not share names, dates of birth, ID numbers, ID images, addresses, or individual scan records with sponsors.

WestFest may preserve and disclose relevant records to law enforcement, emergency personnel, or government authorities when required by law, in response to valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to address a safety, security, fraud, or criminal incident.

Plain-English privacy summary

We scan adult IDs to verify age, issue wristbands, support event safety, and understand attendance patterns. We do not sell scanned ID data. Individual scan records are scheduled for deletion within 14 days after the event, unless needed for a specific safety, security, legal, or law-enforcement matter. Sponsor reports use aggregate, non-identifying attendance statistics, not individual guest records.
